This clip from Fargo Talks is about something I think people get wrong. We’ve been trained to believe everything in life has to feel like a grind. Work. Health. Relationships. Hustle. Suffer. Repeat.
I don’t want my life to feel like punishment. I don’t want my work to feel heavy. I don’t want my health to feel like torture. I don’t want my social life to feel like an obligation.
I started walking four and a half miles a day almost every day. Not because I force myself. Because I like it. The day I wake up and think “I have to do this” instead of “I get to do this,” I’m done. I’ll find something else that works.
Discipline isn’t about suffering. It’s about building habits you can live with. If something makes you miserable, it’s not sustainable. And if it’s not sustainable, it’s not discipline. It’s just punishment.
This clip is about lifestyle, consistency, and why your system should fit your life, not crush it.
