Donald Trump was impeached, shot at and arrested. In this clip from my Fargo Talks conversation, Cliff Maloney, CEO of Citizens Alliance, says what happened to Trump started happening to a lot of other people after January 6, as lawfare spread.
Cliff knows it firsthand. He says he deals with it all the time, and he explains why winning doesn't end it.
In our full conversation, Cliff walks through how Citizens Alliance runs paid door-knocking programs in Pennsylvania, Arizona, New Hampshire and Nevada.
What does Cliff Maloney mean by "the punishment is the process"?
Cliff Maloney says he has faced Federal Election Commission (FEC) complaints, criminal complaints and civil complaints, and has beaten every one because he has nothing to hide. His point is that the process itself is the punishment. He says a lot of people realized that, and it was a big moment in 2024. The views in this clip are Cliff's.
