I ask Mackenzie Dern how much she feels she has left in the tank. I want to know if she thinks she has five more years in her or if she is going to trust her gut as the journey unfolds.

Mackenzie tells me she just renewed her contract for six more fights. She sees herself going two or three more years. She talks about being thirty-two now and thinking thirty-five or thirty-six is a smart place to stop. She is looking at what she wants to achieve, how many goals she still has, and what feels right for her body and mind.

She also shares how she is working toward financial stability outside of fighting. That part shows the other side of a fighter’s life. The planning. The responsibility. The future.

This clip is about timing, purpose, pressure, and knowing when to close one chapter and prepare for the next.
