In this clip from Fargo Talks, McDojoLife explains something most people do not realize. In the United States, there is no regulatory body that controls who can open a martial arts studio. You do not need credentials. You do not need background checks. You do not even need real experience.
I wanted to talk about this because parents assume there is some system in place. There is not. Anyone can claim to be a coach. Anyone can put students into amateur fights. The real danger is not the sport itself. The danger is the people who never go into sport and still get access to students.
@McDojoLifepoints out the real issue. Some people have serious pasts. No one checks them. No one verifies them. And then they are placed in positions of authority over kids and adults.
This clip is about awareness, responsibility, and why choosing the right gym matters more than people think.
