Will AI replace real estate agents?

And he’s betting a company on it.
Ethica is building AI tools specifically for real estate agents, including Ethica VoicePilot, which is available as a free member benefit through the California Association of REALTORS®. VoicePilot is designed to help agents handle forms and transaction work from their phone instead of being chained to a laptop.
Judd’s argument is simple: AI shouldn’t replace good agents. It should replace the repetitive work keeping good agents away from their clients.
As he puts it:
“If you’re lazy and don’t work hard, you’re going to get out either way. It’s not AI.”
A great agent still has to understand the buyer, understand the market, walk through the home, recognize what matters and help someone navigate one of the biggest financial decisions of their life. That’s the part Judd believes AI makes more valuable, not less.
